Hands

Whenever I want to feel frustrated, I just try drawing some hands.

Staceysketch

I like drawing her. Not because I'm good at it, but it gives me an excuse to stare at her picture.

stolen from loish.net

I came across this really cool painter's website, loish.net. So I sketched a couple of her digital paintings. My drawings first, then the originals, with links.

At Home

A couple of sketches while I'm home with a sick girl... first starting with a ball and stick type model base, and redrawing using ball and stick as a reference, sort of.

Then blatantly copying an image from darkwingsketch.blogspot.com, and rotating her to a front view, loosely.

A Role Model for Girls

Inked...

Before Ink.

Why wasn't it Harriet Potter?

On my project list is a story with a good strong female protagonist that doesn't fret about boys, or relationships... but rather talks and acts on the big ideas in life. Scary Go Round and Bad Machinery did a great job with this.

Who would my Harriet Potter be?

Heads and GWS

I was frustrated with how these heads were turning out. I was trying to vindicate myself from yesterdays sketch, but no dice. So I copied some characters from the beautifully drawn
"Girls With Slingshots" webcomic.
And I used a marker. I should marker more often; they look nicer on the web. I've learned that at least.

Small World

A horribly drawn quickie slice-o-life comic. I'm not trying to be funny here, just practicing comic artistry. Or a lack thereof.

Perhaps I'll try this same comic again tomorrow.

Super Stacey

Part of the webcomic I'm developing will involve a superhero based on Stacey.

She's hard to draw.
